what to write about?

This was my first question after my decision of starting a blog. What to write about? It seems there's an abundance of information around us but when it comes to write something, I come up blank. So I started thinking : write about religion - a touchy subject, especially for me; if I share my views on religion I am sure my readers (and not only) will pray for my immortal soul to be doomed to Hell; write about politics - oh boy, now that would be entertaining; sports - not a huge fan; what else is there? So while I'm sitting at my desk, focusing HARD on what to write it comes to me - books, movies, travels, every day life - an abundance of themes. So my first entries were about all these. And it will get better! That's a promise!
